Job Description Summary Reporting to the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, the Director, DEI, Data and Analytics Insights Lead will collaborate closely with key company executives and cross-functional partners to develop and sustain a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture. This individual will partner with the Environmental, Social, and Governance teams to ensure a robust system of controls and procedures for reporting ESG KPIs internally and externally is in place.   • Partner with the People Analytics and Insights team and build out the capability to support all Pfizer’s business units.
  • Provide strategic insights that enable business decisions, predict and measure business impact, improve performance, and advance the use and understanding of complex analytical and statistical techniques and critical thinking across the People Experience Team.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to design data driven strategies to support the growth and financial performance of the business
  • Inform key decisions regarding the implementation of strategies for all business segments including driving data driven insights to shape the future of key growth businesses
  • Advise executive leadership on the design and implementation of strategic scorecards, dashboards, and standard reporting that drive the achievement of core organizational strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data for the annual ESG & DEI reports. This may involve working with HR systems and other internal data sources to gather information on employee demographics, retention rates, promotion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Help to develop a clear and compelling narrative for the annual DEI report, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of action plans and strategies to address any areas of concern identified in the annual DEI report.
  • Participate in ongoing DEI efforts, including training and development programs, employee resource groups, and other initiatives designed to foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
Collaborating with Key Stakeholders
  • Partner with the ESG office to incorporate DEI metrics into the organization's ESG reporting, such as the representation of diverse groups in leadership roles.
  • Monitor and assess stakeholder expectations and coordinate effective responses across sustainability issues, including but not limited to human rights.
  • Track inquiries and scorecards on specific issues, sectors or clients and coordinate approach to engagement and official responses, in coordination with colleagues in Global Public Affairs, Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM), Legal and the relevant businesses.
  • Provide support and qualitative analysis for the Reputation Risk Appetite Assessment on a quarterly basis, including evaluations of reputational risk key indicators
  • Contribute to ESG ratings content, reporting, stakeholder communication and investor engagement on sustainability issues.
  • Collaborate with the ESG offices to ensure that sustainability initiatives consider the needs and perspectives of diverse communities and do not disproportionately impact marginalized groups.
  • Develop presentation materials, talking points, benchmarking and analysis on sustainability, and human rights-related topics for engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop action plans to address any identified racial disparities through collaboration with functional teams.
  • Provide guidance and support on racial justice topics to employees and leaders.
  • Identify and address the organization's racial justice concerns and possibilities.
  • Lead the detailed design and delivery of substantial projects within the Global DEI strategic plan, ensuring integration with other disciplines/functions; build management commitment and use structured change management methodologies to drive acceptance of change and to embed desired culture and behaviors.
  • Continuously evaluate all employee policies, practices, and programs, ensuring fair, equitable and inclusive outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with ESG/CSR/Legal to develop objectives, define impact/measurement goals and regular reporting to track results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication that translates into written content, presentations, plans and other materials, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex racial justice-related issues
  • Commitment and passion for advancing diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.
  • Champion for organizational change and broader processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with others and leads in an ambiguous, changing environment.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across an organization
  • Ability to manage sensitive associate and business information with utmost confidentiality.
  • Ability to partner and work strategically with cross-functional teams to drive overall solutions, while appropriately anticipating and managing issues and risks and large-scale change management.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Certification and Change Management Certification strongly preferred with proven experience designing data dashboards and data reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., diversity and inclusion, human resources, sociology)
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in racial justice and DEI
  • Experience developing and implementing DEI policies and procedures

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $232,200.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
